FUJI FILM is offering our members their products for cheap! The sell us all of their products for factory prices. members can purchase any film or paper for 20% to 30% of the store price.
CLASSES AND TUTORIALS:
Starting Jan-08, VDCo-op is offering a new workshop, The Principals of Light. In this 6 hour session, students learn to work with studio photo equipment, such as strobes, monolamps, bounces and backdrops. Creative lighting technics and use of available light is explored. Students gain photos for their portfolio and learn to light on a budget. Email for more info.
course fee: $80 As usual, the hugely popular Colour Printing Workshop is still available by request. This is a 4 hour session for medium to advanced darkroom users. Learn to manipulate the tone and mood of your photo, while becoming familliar with the colour wheel, and proportionate colour use. course fee $50
We also offer beginners and advanced B&W darkroom workshops, also 4 hour sessions each. Email for more details.

All printing classes includesyour supplies (paper, chemistry, etc.). Plus, if you become a member, it knocks $80 off the one time start-up fee! You also recieve 6 hours buddying at any later date so you can perfect your skills with help!
CO-OP STRUCTURE....
COME ON DOWN!!!!! Members recieve space keys and enjoy unlimited use of the studio space and darkrooms.
Facilities include medium format and 35mm, colour printing up to 30" and processing through our Kreonite Promate II machine (previously owned by Pacific Light Impressions. Black and White printing can be done up to 24", either RC or fibre. Dry mount pressing is also available for those with gallery showings.
Time bookings are made via internet for easy access.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The co-op is open EVERY DAY including holidays, 24/7! (This creates about 70 to 100 hours of printing time per person, per month!)
Members can book their time on the website calendar or direct with Tamara at 377-8931 (see page for details and rules)
FEE STRUCTURE: (Members recieve a student discount on paper at Beau Photo!!!!!)
HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY IN A MONTH TO HAVE YOUR PHOTOS PRINTED FOR YOU....?
The one time sign-up fee is $145. This can be paid in two or three portions (FIRST TIME DROP IN FEES WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP IF YOU DECIDE TO JOIN! SO, COME DOWN AND TRY IT OUT FIRST.)
The monthly membership fee is $95. With each $95, enjoy an umlimited amount of printing for 30 days! And, come and go as you please! Members are members for life. You may decide to only come in for 1 month in a year, and only need to pay for the month that you are printing.
